Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) signed an MoU today with Dell Technologies, which will witness both organizations combine their expertise in emerging technologies to drive the joint development of engineering and technology projects in the Kingdom.
The MoU with Dell Technologies is designed to work with SDAIA to leverage solutions within AI, cloud, data analytics, and enterprise storage. This strategic collaboration will also see an exchange of industry best practices and expertise needed to develop integrated projects that will serve public sector entities’ technology needs across Saudi Arabia.
The signing took place during GITEX Technology Week 2020 between His Excellency Dr. Esam Al-Wagait, Director of Saudi Arabia’s National Information Center (NIC) who signed on behalf of SDAIA’s president His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, and Mohammed Amin, Senior VP of the Middle East Dell Technologies.
The new MoU comes within the framework of SDAIA’s efforts to activate the national strategy for data and AI, which was recently approved by the Saudi leadership and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of data and artificial intelligence within the Kingdom and the world.
His Excellency Dr. Esam Al-Wagait, Director of Saudi Arabia’s NIC, stated: “At SDAIA, innovation is at the heart of everything we do.
